Hi, I’m Rebecca, founder of Swell Curations, a boutique design firm inspired by timeless, modern California style and a commitment to creating spaces that feel as good as they look. My approach is rooted in a background in hospitality, where I learned exceptional customer service isn’t just a skill, it’s a mindset. That mindset shapes how I work with clients, making their experience as seamless and enjoyable as the end result.

Growing up in Temecula, surrounded by construction and inspired by my dad’s skill as a carpenter, I fell in love with the process of bringing ideas to life. From the smell of sawdust to the sound of a hammer meeting wood, I learned to appreciate craftsmanship and the joy of seeing a vision take shape. Today, I bring that same passion to every project, blending functionality, elegance, and care to create spaces clients are proud to call home.

As a self-proclaimed homebody, I deeply value the importance of personal spaces. Your home should be a sanctuary; a place that welcomes you, inspires you to unwind, and invites loved ones to gather. I believe in curating homes that reflect who you are and become the backdrop to your most meaningful moments.

Beyond the design itself, I pride myself on being an advocate for my clients, serving as the bridge between them and their contractors, vendors, and trades. Construction can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make it smooth, transparent, and stress-free, so you can enjoy the process and focus on the excitement of your dream space coming to life.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me exploring National Parks, relaxing on Maui’s beaches, cheering on the Dodgers (Go Blue!), or wandering the storybook streets of France, Italy, and Switzerland. At home in Carlsbad, I share life with my husband, Jay, who works in business development at a Bay Area tech startup and serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S.M.C. Reserves, and our three kitties, Lou, Vin, and Mookie.
